Karakia Mihimihi
Karakia Mihimihi
Tēnei tātou;
Tēnei au, tēnei au
Te hōkai nei i taku tapuwae
Ko te hōkai-nuku
Ko te hōkai-rangi
Ko te hōkai o tō tipuna a Tāne-nui-ā-rangi
I pikitia ai
Ki te Rangi-tūhaha
Ki Tihi-i-manono
I rokohina atu rā
Ko Io-Matua-Kore anake
I riro iho ai
Ngā Kete o te Wananga
Ko te Kete Tuauri
Ko te Kete Tuatea
Ko te Kete Aronui
Ka tiritiria, ka poupoua
Ki a Papatūānuku
Ka puta te ira tangata
Ki te whaiao
Ki te ao mārama
Tihei mauri ora!
Tōku toa, he toa rangatira!
Tēnei he mihi nunui ki a koutou katoa.
Me hīkoitahi tātou, ki te whakapakari o tātou nei haerenga toitū, mō he ao hōu mō mātou, ā, mō ngā uri whakatipu ake nei.
Kia māia, kia manawanui.
Nō reira, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā tātou katoa.
Te whānau o Trick Of The Light.
Who this guide is for
This is a guide for artists and companies touring theatre in and from Aotearoa. It’s aimed at those putting work on, rather than venues that host them, and at work going on tour rather than one-off or in-house seasons, however much of the information will be applicable beyond this.
What it will cover
This guide will help you understand and reduce the environmental impacts of touring theatre here and overseas, including emissions, waste, and environmentally harmful practices. It is structured chronologically – before tour, on tour, and post-tour – with links to articles from different disciplines as well as tools and templates, such as a materials tracker and green rider.
